The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Company. A strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a proven track record of success in financial management, the ideal candidate will take the lead in managing the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance functions of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support key decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting activities
- Monitor and report on actual performance against budget and forecast,
- Prepare and analyze and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations/laws, and reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity; monitor cash flow forecasts and analyze variances
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (minimum of 2nd Class) ; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least [3] years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Excel.
