Mill Lead (IZC-ML)

The Mill Lead will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of our daily milling operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment, while leading a team of mill operators to meet production targets within quality standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of milling operations to meet production targets and customer demand.
  2. Monitor production processes, equipment performance, and product quality
  3. Implement production schedules, workflows, and quality control measures to optimize mill operations and minimize downtime.
  4. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer specifications.
  5. Coordinate regular inspections and tests maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment upgrades to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation and maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ s degree, HND, OND in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (minimum of 2nd Class or Upper Credit).
    • At least 3 years of experience in milling operations management, with a proven track record of success.
    • Strong technical knowledge of coated calcium carbonate milling processes, equipment, and technologies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
