Procurement Manager (IZC- PRM)

The Procurement Manager will oversee all procurement activities for the Company, ensuring the timely and cost- effective acquisition of goods and services. In this regard, the ideal candidate is expected to possess excellent negotiation skills, and knowledge of market/product trends and dynamics with a keen sense for quality and the capacity to optimize procurement processes while driving supplier performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to support our business objectives.
  2. Drive for cost savings, quality, and supply chain optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives.
  3. Manage supplier relationships and performance
  4. Implement procurement best practices, tools, and technologies to automate and optimize procurement operations.
  5. Optimize inventory levels and stock replenishment processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  6. Monitor contract performance and vendor compliance to mitigate risks and maximize value delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (minimum of 2nd Class); Master’s degree will be an advantage.
    • At least 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least [X] years in a managerial or leadership role.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software systems and tools.
    • Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
