The Procurement Manager will oversee all procurement activities for the Company, ensuring the timely and cost- effective acquisition of goods and services. In this regard, the ideal candidate is expected to possess excellent negotiation skills, and knowledge of market/product trends and dynamics with a keen sense for quality and the capacity to optimize procurement processes while driving supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to support our business objectives.
- Drive for cost savings, quality, and supply chain optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Implement procurement best practices, tools, and technologies to automate and optimize procurement operations.
- Optimize inventory levels and stock replenishment processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor contract performance and vendor compliance to mitigate risks and maximize value delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (minimum of 2nd Class); Master’s degree will be an advantage.
- At least 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least [X] years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software systems and tools.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
